StreetCam.ca connects voluntarily registered cameras across Canadian communities with investigators working specific, authorized cases. It exists to make it easier to find footage that matters after an incident — without asking anyone to accept always-on surveillance to get there.

Every camera on the network is registered by its owner, who chooses what to share and approves every request individually. There is no browsable directory of cameras, no standing access for investigators, and no facial-recognition search.
